Beautiful Azaleas

It's been a whole week since I've posted! Lori, you're right...I'm getting worse and worse! Not too many picture opportunities this week...it was a little hectic around here. The Azaleas are in full bloom around Montgomery so I snapped a couple pics of Ella at Nana and Pop-pop's this afternoon. The flowers are so beautiful...I love spring!! If you look closely you'll see Ella's new teeth. She's the proud owner of 8 teeth now. :-) She started waving bye-bye last week and now her favorite thing to do is clap when I sing "If you're happy and you know it clap your hands..." Isn't it amazing how quickly their little minds learn new things? If only my mind was such a sponge!

Easter Sunday

"Christ is risen"

"He is risen indeed!"

We celebrated Easter today not because of the Easter Bunny or eggs or candy, but because Jesus came to earth to die for our sins so that we might have eternal life. Pretty awesome I think!!! I hope everyone had as fun of a day of celebrating today as we did.

We started out the morning at Frazer and then went to Nana and Pop-pop's for lunch. Afterwards we headed to Meemaw and Pawpaw's house for an egg hunt (an adult egg hunt with cash prizes...wowza!) Ella was such a little Easter angel. She even took a nap at Nana and Pop-pop's in the pack 'n play. Not a normal occurance! Here's some pictures from our fun day.

Easter Eggstravagaaaanza

Today was the Easter Eggstravaganza at Frazer. So much fun for children and adults alike...a great place to socialize! :-) Ella loved the Easter egg hunt and watching all the people...not a big fan of the Easter Bunny though. I wasn't surprised considering how much she loved Santa. HA! These are some pictures that I took this morning before we left and then at the church. Isn't that sundress so cute??

Ella was even scared of this little Easter Bunny...hence the reason that I'm in the picture with her.
"Hey Ansley, what kind of eggs did you get?":
At the end of the morning Ella was really worn out and totally content to lay on the floor and play with my car keys...once again a perfect example of how little it takes to entertain babies!

Pictures with Saddlar and Elliot

I got together with Sonya, Jerri, Bea, and Jill yeseterday to take some pictures of Saddlar, Elliot, and Ella together. It was hilarious...5 adults trying to get 3 children to take a picture together...with no success! Here's some of the funny ones we got and good ones too:
The only picture I got of the three of them:
Ella falling on Elliot's head...he did not like it!:
When we pulled in the driveway, I noticed that the sun was shining down on the cross in the yard just perfectly and it looked really beautiful. What a wonderful reminder of God's love for us! :-)
Ella was absolutely exhausted after her fun day...she is such a tough cookie! She came home with a big bruise on the side of her face and a scratch on her back from playing so hard but didn't complain a bit!

Our Friend Emily

Little Miss Emily came to visit with us this morning while her mommy Carianne worked. She is such a cutie! She's got the sweetest, roundest little face...I just want to pinch her cheeks all the time! I was only able to snap a couple of shots and couldn't resist sharing.

Here's Miss Emily:

And here's Ella showing her the ropes on the exersaucer...you know, which toys are the funnest and everything:

It was very interesting to watch Ella because it's the first time she's seen me with another baby. A little jealous I do believe! There was lots of me holding Emily and Ella wrapped around my legs pitching a conniption fit. Good thing I'm not having another one anytime soon! :-) We had a great time with Emily though. If you want to see how much she's changed since the last time we saw her, click here.

Parties, Parties, and More Parties!

We had a fun-filled day yesterday. We had 2 birthday parties and a supper club and it was all a ton of fun. Ella was such a little trooper too...I didn't know how she would handle all of the activities, but she did great.

So first up was little Tinsley's 1st Birthday. It was a morning party with an Easter Egg hunt. There were so many cute little kids there!
They had bunny ears for all the kids to wear:

Next we had Ansley's 3rd birthday party. She had a princess party with a very pretty princess cake. She was all about that cake! Could not wait to get into it! :-)
Finally we finished up with supper club with the Roach and Goggans families. No pictures from that, but we had a really great time.
I hope y'all are having a great weekend! :-)
