The Pumpkin Patch 2009

My gosh, we had so much fun at the pumpkin patch with the Johnson family this year. Last year when we went, Anna and Anderson were still in our bellies...things sure change in a year! It was fur-reezing cold the morning that we went, but it certainly didn't bother the kids any. They had a blast! I'm posting some of my favorite pics below and then if you still want to see some more images, check out the slideshow at the bottom of the post (probably just for relatives...LOTS of pictures).

Happy Birthday to Me!

I turned the big 2-7 on October 16th. It was a great birthday! Keith asked Ella what she would like to get me for my birthday and she responded "shoes and chocolate and stickers" so that's exactly what I got! New tennis shoes, a bag of hershey hugs and kisses, and a package of post-it notes. :-) Just what I wanted! I also got a nifty little iPhone which I'm still learning how to use, but enjoying none the less. To celebrate we went out to dinner with some good buddies on Friday night and then had a family celebration with my parents on Saturday. Of course there was a Cake Design cake involved...my very fave. So anyways, it was a terrific day...thank you to everyone who wished me a happy birthday!! :-)

Anna found her feet on the day she turned 4 months...this is the only pic I have so far...can't wait to take some more. I think it's adorable when babies finally discover those toes!

Oh man, I hate to say it, but I am getting so behind in my personal blog posts! Life definitely hasn't stopped around here and I have so many adorable pictures to share, but just can't find the time to edit and post them. I'll catch up soon I promise! Until then, here's a few from a few weeks ago when we had a little streak of nice weather. The girls and I headed out side to enjoy and it have some fun with bubbles.

The Zoo

After my dad's retirement and before he started his new job, he had a couple of weeks off. So, we took advantage of that time and had a father-daughter-granddaughter day at the zoo. Ella thought it was so cool that PopPop was there with us! And Anna (who's slightly spoiled and hitched a ride with PopPop most of the morning) thought it was pretty cool too. :-)
