Playtime at the Park and Pool Fun

I am just loving this sweet girl's personality...she is so much fun! It's so easy to make her laugh now and she just seems overjoyed with life and curiosity. Love it!

Last week I had the pleasure of watching one of my friend's little girls, Linley. I have to say, I hope Ella is JUST LIKE HER when she's almost 3. Linley was a total angel...so polite and so sweet. And, we had a great time swimming in my parent's pool.

Mandy and I attempted to take the kids to the park but we made the sad discovery that it's just entirely too hot for outdoor play in Alabama right now. After about 5 minutes the kids were saying they wanted to go home and Mandy and I didn't think that was a bad idea! :-) We had a picnic lunch and then high-tailed it out of there...maybe we'll return sometime in December? Love the pictures I got of her kids though...they're a hoot!

Mandy and her 3 kids...she's such a great mom!

Ella was enthralled with a piece of garbage she found...lovely:

Check back tomorrow for more pictures of Ella's fun smiles and some sports related pictures...that's right...Keith has already turned her into a little athlete! :-)

New Website and Blog

Hey there...just a quick post to say that the Suzanne Williams Photography website has been re-done and I'm introducing a SWP blog that I'm excited about! If you get a chance, check it out. I'll be back later to post to Ella pics from this weekend. Oh and just a reminder that if you have a session booked with me, the new pricing structure does not apply to you! :-)

Last Ones...Woohoo!

We woke up Sunday morning to beautiful skies so we went to the Point Club to swim around a bit. Keith went in the kayak and raced us in the boat. He kept up the pace pretty well!

Once Ella had enough, we went back to the house for a little playtime before heading home.

After a fun-filled weekend with not much sleep, Ella pooped out on the way home. Thanks again for a great weekend Ben and Kelli! We loved it!

3rd Round...

Kelli, Ella, and I headed over to Orange Beach Saturday night to try and snap a few pictures of Ella on the beach. That girl loved the ocean! No fear...just running full speed ahead at the waves. Maybe she'll be a surfer???

When we got back, the boys were home with shrimp, crabs, squid, and a very interesting creature. Does anybody know what that is???

2nd Round of Pictures...

...more to come tonight.
We woke up Saturday morning to dark clouds so we visited the outlet stores for a little while. The boys were supposed to be deep sea fishing all day but had to turn around due to the weather. By the time we all met back up at the house, the sun was coming out and we headed out on the boat to Pirates's Cove for a quick lunch. When we got back, Ella was able to spend some time playing in the water and the guys went shrimping. They came back with some yummy shrimp that we ate that night in a shrimp boil.

1st Round of Beach Pictures

Ok, here's the first round of edited beach pictures. I'm going to post them by day I think. Just as a disclaimer; there are a lot of pictures to follow. If you're not a family member or close friend, you probably will be bored with them. :-) I do realize not everyone wants to see 500+ pictures of our family. Haha! :-)

When we got there, we had to go straight out to check out the water and sand:

Next, we took a quick boat ride to check out the dolphins which came right up to the boat. Pretty cool!:

"Hi dolphins!"

Ella loved the boat...even tolerated her life jacket pretty well:

I know this picture is a little soft, but I just love the moment it captured:

Kelli and Ben, our terrific hosts. Kelli is pregnant with a little girl named Caroline and is due in October. Check back then for newborn pictures of her! :-)

The first mate:

After boating we headed back to the cottage for some fun in the grass and then bedtime for Ella. It was a great first day. I can't even tell you how wonderful the location is and what a relaxing place it was to visit. We loved it! More pictures to come tomorrow!
