Time Outside

Yesterday Ella and I took advantage of the nice weather and hung out in the backyard for a little while. Look at those blue skies...makes me think I'm at Carolina again! :-)

Funny Pics and Video

Ella got some Biter Biscuits for Easter. I've been waiting to give one to her because I know they're so messy so I just opened them up yesterday. She loved it! This is what the end result was:

I'm just going to have to learn that messy = FUN! :-)

Also, Ella has really gotten into playing with the dogs. She loves to chase them...I'm not sure what they think about it, but they've been good sports so far.

100th Post!

I've reached a big milestone! My 100th post! haha...:-) Anyways, my Aunt Sis has been in town visiting from South Dakota this weekend. I'm so glad she was able to get down here and spend some time with Ella now that she's a happy baby...the last time she was here Ella was only 3 months and still a little colicky, plus not sleeping well. All that equals a grouchy baby. So needless to say, I'm sure she didn't make a great impression! However, Ella's redeemed herself because we've had a ton of fun together this time. Here a few pictures and more to come tomorrow.
Some silly pictures of Ella getting her 'jammies on:
Ella figured out how to push a button on one of her toys so that it sings a song...she thought it was hilarious:
Finally, a fun walk with Pop-pop:

11 Months Old

1 Month:
6 Months:
8 Months:
Yikes! Only one more month before Ella turns 1. I know I say this every month, but I CANNOT believe it! It seems like only a few days ago that she was born. However, on the other hand it seems like she's always been here and I don't know what we did without her. I put up a few of her other monthly pictures just for fun and comparison. Below are a few other shots from this morning that didn't make the "monthly picture" cut. :-)

Ella's 1st Baseball Game

Ella attended her first baseball game last night to cheer on the Montgomery Biscuits in their season opener...they had fireworks and everything! We went with a few other couples from our Sunday School class. We sat on the lawn which was nice for the kids because they could run around and play. It was on a pretty steep slope though, so poor little Ella had a time getting her balance. As a preclaimer; please don't hold the really bad quality of most of these images against me. It was really dark and really late after a long day! :-)

Leaving for the game...Ella in her cool pink baseball cap:

Checking everything out on the field:
Our view from the lawn (of course I get lens flare when I don't want to...oh well):

Aren't these sandals so cute? My grandmother got them for Ella for Easter...I had a pair just like them when I was 2. Check them out here:

When the game was finishing up and the kids had just exhausted their 5th wind...we kept them busy with some free balls they were throwing. Ella and Davis loved chasing after them. Ella liked to steal them from Davis and he was so sweet and sharing!

Happy April Fools!

I tried to come up with a funny April Fool's joke all day and could not...I'm boring...ha! This afternoon Ella woke up from her nap with her signature crazy hair. I wanted a picture of it but that little booger wouldn't stay still for a minute! I saved all of my blurry, out of focus pictures though because I loved her expressions...so happy! That's what a good nap will do for you. Here's the one good picture I got (and you can't really even see the hair) and all the crazy ones:

She still is loving her paci, but she's developed a habit of putting in it the side of her mouth so she can smile, babble, etc.

Here's one more pic...sans paci:

Finally, Charlie shared with me that it hurt his feelings that Abby made the blog with an individual picture and he didn't...soooo...here's the monster of the family. Keith and I feel certain Ella's first sentence will consist of "Charlie...no!" He's a little hyper...
